As there are two graphs we could separate them into the two body paragraphs.

Accordingly, the structure should be as follows:

o Overview –                    overall understanding

o Body paragraph 1 –     graph on electrical appliances

The line graphs indicate how owning of electric devices in common homes shifts over the century, 1920 to 2019, and the impact of it on hours of housework on a weekly basis.

Looking at the big picture, usage of refrigerators and vacuum cleaners have increased to reach every household in the latter decades and washing machines too have had a considerable acceleration in demand over the last century, and as a result of this, weekly hours on housework has reduced tremendously.

First, refrigerators and vacuum cleaners have become essential household amenities quite rapidly compared to washing machines. In 1920 no freezing equipment were in use in houses but 30% of houses already had vacuum cleaners. But the ownership of fridges rocketed up over the next four decades and then slowed down a bit and finally became an essential item for every house by 1980. However vacuum cleaners also has had a steady popularity and became an essential item in all houses by the year 2000. But the washing machines which were an equipment in 40% of the residences slowed in acceleration and ended up as 70% in 1960 which remained same till the end with a small drop in 1980, but shows a little improvement in 2019.

Relating to the same period next it can be seen housework hours have dropped from 50 hrs to 20 hrs within the first four decades and then slowed down to arrive at 10% in 2019. In the meantime, it was stable at around 15% for the period 1980 to 2000.
